Hi, I’m Yonas. I’m a software engineer at Microsoft, working on the tools engineers use to find and fix security issues. Lately, that’s meant building systems that coordinate AI agents and turn their work into pull requests.
I studied computer science at Bowdoin, where I also helped teach data structures. Now I’m working toward my master’s at Georgia Tech, focusing on computer systems.

Architected a distributed AI remediation platform that automates security patching. It generated thousands of pull requests and saved 10,000+ developer hours.
Built webhook-based telemetry to trace agent jobs across services, designed an agent-onboarding API, and helped scale the platform across internal teams. I also maintain a service that reports static-analysis findings directly in eligible pull requests.
